Using up the Scrap Stash
I have found a new to me blog that I am so excited about! Cuttin' and Stampin' has offered a challenge to use your scraps and that is just what I did. I went through my stash and not only did I find my background paper I also found a border already punched out! So I grabbed a colored image out of my stash ( I tend to color more images than I know what to do with), then I inked the image with my Chestnut Roan cats eye. I also inked the border which after doing so immediately thought maybe I shouldn't have but it was a done deal so I went with it. I inked the edges of the patterned paper and then the card itself ( I may having an inking problem...) . This sweet image is from House Mouse by Stampabilities, I thought it was a perfect fit for a friend of mine whose grandma recently passed away and we just want to surround her with comfort and love.
I put some bling pearls from Zva Creative I thought it filled in some empty space and looked nice. I also added some yellow pearl pen as the center of the flowers in the border the punch. I am so excited to be able to participate in this challenge which encouraged me to create a card out of my scraps for a sweet friend of mine who needs some extra TLC right now.
Super cute image and card. Thank you for playing along with "Use Your Scraps" at Cuttin' and Stampin' Challenge.
